Director-General Ismayil OmarovOmarov Ismayil Abbas Oglu was born on February
20, 1954 in Kvemo-Bolnisi village (Kapanakchi village) of Bolnisi region of the
Republic of Georgia. He graduated from Kapanakchi village secondary school in
1971. The same year he entered the faculty of journalism of Azerbaijan State
University. After graduating from his higher education in 1976, he was given
assignment to work at Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting
Company and began a career in the television. He was promoted from the
assistant editor to editor-in-chief. He was a scriptwriter and presenter of the
TV series such as “Blockade”, “Tragedy of the Century”, “Black
January”, “Karabakh Knot” etc. He studied a great number of tragedies
that faced Azerbaijan in ‘90s. He got his second higher education as a
political analyst in Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science.
He was elected a deputy of Milli Majlis of the second convocation for 2000-2005.
On April 16, 2008 an absolute majority of votes elected him the Director General
of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company out of 16 nominees. He
is the one who in a short period of time succeeded to establish the Public TV
and Radio which is one of the democratic and transparent institutions in the
media sphere. He is a member of the State Committee of the Republic of
Azerbaijan on Hostages and Missing People.  He is “Qizil Qalam” (Golden
Pen) and “Araz” Awards winner. He is Honored Art Worker of the Republic of
Azerbaijan. Upon the order issued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on
November 10, 2011, Ismayil Omarov was awarded  with the third grade 'Order for
Serving Motherland' for their merits in the development of television and radio
in Azerbaijan.

Chingiz Aslanov
He is Deputy Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting
Company and a broadcaster. He has been working in television for over 30 years.
He is “Qizil Qalam” (Golden Pen) and “Araz” Awards winner. He is Honored
Journalist of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Elman Qadirov
He is Deputy Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting
Company on radio and a broadcaster. He has been working in the press for nearly
30 years. He held the post of Editor-in-Chief of the key newspapers of the
country as well as Azertac (news agency). He is “Qizil Qalam” (Golden Pen)
Award winner. He also won many creative competitions. His hundreds of
publicistic and analytic articles were published. He is Honored Journalist of
the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Rafig Nabiyev
He is Director of “Coordination and Program Scheduling” Management in
Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He graduated from the faculty
of journalism at Baku State University. He served for a long time as a
department director in Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Company. He was
awarded with the title of Honored Journalist of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Natig Abdullayev
He is Director of News Department in Public Television and Radio Broadcasting
Company. He graduated from the faculty of history at Baku State University. He
is PhD in Economics. His journalism career began in ITAR-TASS, Azerinforum
agencies and held different posts of director. He has worked as an
editor-in-chief in AZTV since 1995. He was awarded with the title of Honored
Journalist of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Anar Yusufoglu
He is Director of “Analytical Programs” Department in Public Television and
Radio Broadcasting and graduated from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
He worked in “ANS” and “SARA” TV channels, “525” Qazet, and
“Law” scientific journal.
Jasarat Valehov
He is Director of the “Science and Education Programs” Department in the
Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He graduated from West
University and received a Master from Management Academy under President of
Azerbaijan. He also received a Master of International Relations from
Azerbaijan University and graduated from a postgraduate course of Baku State
University. He is a senior teacher in West University, and a PHD of Philology.
He was a research worker at the Institute of Philosophy, Political and Legal
Studies at Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and an editor- in- chief in
Azerbaijan State Tele-Radio Broadcasting Company.
Rafig Samandar
He is Director of “Literature and Art” Department in Pubic Television and
Radio Broadcasting Company. He is a writer-journalist. He has been working in
the media for 35 years. He held the post of editor-in–chief in BMTI, DUNYA
and LIDER TV channels. He wrote 20 fiction-books and 20 plays. He is a writer
of “Martyrs” book published in 150 editions and dedicated to 20 January
martyrs. He is a senior teacher in Azerbaijan International University.
Qaranfil Khalilova
She is head of Jarchifilm Production.  Her occupation is journalist. She has 24
years of experience in Azerbaijan State Radio and Television Company. She is
candidate of political sciences.  She was awarded the title "Honored
Journalist". She has received awards from Journalists Union and other public
organizations.
Fazil Alishov
He is head of Television and Radio Complex. He graduated from Azerbaijan
Technical University ( former Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute). He started his
working career in 1974 and worked in Azerbaijan State Radio and Television
Company for many years. He took up the post of Director of Technical Services
in several TV  companies and at the same time delivered lectures  in Azerbaijan
Technical University.  He was awarded the title "Honored Engineer".
Ilham Sarkhanli
He is head of News department of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting
Company. He received bachelor degree in distinction in political management and
master degree on "Political processes in the world and theory of international
relations" in State Management Academy under President of Azerbaijan.
Shafag Najafova
She is director of Finance and Marketing department of Public Television and
Radio Broadcasting Company.
Saida Musabayli
Saida Musabayli studied journalism in Baku State University. She started  her
media career in Azerbaijan's state-run television(AzTV) when she was a student.
After finishing  the university, Musabayli began to work as correspondent,
presenter and editor of the morning program in AzTV.  Since 2005 she is head of
Morning Programs department. She was named as "Female journalist of the year"
and received an award named after Jafar Jabbarli and special awards of the
Republic of Kyrgyzstan and TURKSOY.
Fuzuli  Ismayilov
He is director of Cinema and Dubbing department. He finished Social Management
and Political Affairs Institute.  He worked at Azerbaijan State Radio in 1996,
in Azerbaijan Television  from 1998 to 2005. He took up various posts in the
Public Television since 2005.  He is PhD in history.
Imir Mammadov
He is Director of “Literature and Art” Department in the Pubic Television
and Radio Broadcasting Company. He graduated from the faculty of philology at
Tbilisi State University. He is a writer, Georgia State Award winner and
Cavalier of Honor. His first job he began in Georgia State Tele-Radio
Broadcasting Committee as a journalist in 1985. He was promoted to deputy head
of Regional Policy and Management Service of Georgian President. He is a member
of Writers Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Coordination Council of World
Azerbaijanis.
