Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry warns Azerbaijani citizens against travel to Iraq

Though the number of terror acts decreased in the territory of Iraq, traveling
in this country is still considered dangerous, the ministry officials say.
Travel in Baghdad and its northern territories, Mosul and Kerkuk cities of Iraq
is unsafe. It is a fact that people are taken hostages and kidnapped in this
country, and as a result of explosives planted in the transport vehicles and
human bodies kill and injure thousands in Iraq. Travel with motor cars is
extremely dangerous. Motor cars are mainly attacked on the roads between the
city and Baghdad International Airport. Taking all into the account,
Azerbaijani citizens who want traveling this country are recommended to be very
careful. The statement also says that the ministry is not responsible for the
occurrence of any accident during the travel of the citizens to Iraq.
