After 8 years Agasi Mammadov's success Magomedrasul Madzhidov won the second gold at the championships for our country.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the athlete and gave him a flat for the great success at the championships. President of Azerbaijan Boxing Federation Kamalladin Heyderov is also congratulated our boxer because of his great job at the championships and gave him 50 000 USD and a car as an award. Mahammad Ismayilov, head of the region where boxer was born also congratulated and gave a car ( Lada Priora) to Magomedrasulov.

In the history of Azerbaijan boxing there is not an olimpic champion. Magomedrasulov will try to break this barrier. The boxer is considered one of the favorites at the Olimpic Games. His main rival is Antony Joshua. Magomedrsulov won Antony with a slight difference in the final of the world championships. M.Madzhidov trusts himself and believes that he will bring the title of olympic champion to Azerbaijan.
