The World Summit of Religious Leaders will be held in Baku late April

The participation of Armenian Catholicos in the summit is under question

The summit will be held between April 27 and 29 in Baku, Caucasus Muslims Office Chairman Sheik-ul-islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh told APA. According to him, 150 religious leaders, including representatives of traditional religions will attend the summit. Allahshukur Pashazadeh said Catholicos of all Armenians the second Garagin is among invitees.
“Religious leaders of all countries are members of CIS interreligious Council. I am co-chairman of this council. As I know, Patriarch of Moscow and whole Russia Kiril will be visiting Armenia in a day or two. He will probably invite Garagin to Baku summit. I wish Garagin came Baku and saw truths about Azerbaijan with his own eyes. But I do not think he will. It is certainly that during the summit in Baku Armenia will organize events dedicated to the so-called Armenian genocide”, said the chairman. www.itv.az
