Eleven dwellings will be torn down in Quba for creating Genocide Memorial Complex

Genocide Memorial Complex will be established in Quba

Eleven dwellings near mass grave of Azerbaijanis who became victims of the genocide committed by Armenians in Quba will be torn down in order to construct Genocide Memorial Complex in the place of the grave. The residents of these dwellings will be paid compensations.  The construction of the complex will start in spring. Today officials of Emergency Ministry, Culture and Tourism Ministry, “Melioration and Water Economy” JSC, and representatives of Azerbaijan Academy of National Sciences visited the area of mass grave. It should be mentioned that President Ilham Aliyev issued an order on the establishment of Genocide Memorial Complex in Quba on December 30. On the purpose the president allocated 1 million manats from President’s Reserve Fund. www.itv.az
