Yesterday the second semi-final of “Eurovisiosn-2009” was held. Azerbaijani
Participants qualified for final with their song “Always”. They
participated under number 12 and their performance was made a furor in the
hearts of millions of spectators. After the performances of the second
semi-finalists the spectators began to determine 10 winners within 15-minutes
televoting. The names of AySel and Arash who will move forward to the Grand
Final on Saturday were announced first. Along with Azerbaijan, Croatia,
Ukraine, Lithuania, Albania, Moldova, Denmark, Estonia, Norway and Greece were
also qualified for final. It should be mentioned that the finalists determined
in semi 1, May 12, are Turkey, Sweden, Israel, Portugal, Malta, Finland,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania, Armenia and Island. Moreover, England, French,
Russia and Spain will also participate in the Grand Final, May 16th. According
to the lot drawing, Azerbaijani Participants will perform their song in the
final under number 11.
