“I will win, I believe it”

Yesterday a press conference was held in Ictimai with participation of Azerbaijani representative in Oslo Safura Alizadeh, Head of Azerbaijani delegation in Eurovision Adil Kerimli and Head of International Relations Department of Ictimai Tahir Mammadov. They answered questions of the journalists attended the conference. Speaking to the journalists, Safura said that she would do her level best to properly represent Azerbaijan in the contest and very happy that such important work had been entrusted only to her: “I believe in myself. I exactly knew it while participating in the national selection of the contest. I will demonstrate my power to whole Europe”   

“I will be hailed with long applause after returning from the contest”.”

Expressing attitude towards the rumors over her selection, Safura said: “Thanks to myself, I have been selected Azerbaijani representative and I believe that I will get high result”

Answering to the question “Will you perform with saxophone?” the representative said that it would depend on the song to be performed in the contest: “If it will necessary to perform with saxophone, I will do it. I am ready stand the proof to gain achieve this goal. I believe I will be hailed with long applause after returning from the contest”.”

During the press conference Head of Azerbaijani delegation in Eurovision Adil Kerimli also answered questions of the journalists, saying that rumors over nonobjectivity of the national selection are groundless

 “We, as organizer of the selection, have a right to select any singer for Eurovision. Many countries and Turkey as well use this experience. But we preferred to select the best singer, holding an objective selection with participation of professional jury”, said Adil Kerimli. www.itv.az
