Winner of Azerbaijani national final was announced yesterday

Safura Alizadeh will represent Azerbaijan in Eurovision 2010 in Oslo

Yesterday final concert of Azerbaijani national selection finished. Itv.az informs that this year Safura Alizadeh who was selected by jury voting will represent Azerbaijan in Oslo. The grandiose show organized by Azeri broadcaster Ictimai and supported by Youth and Sports Ministry and Haydar Aliyev Foundation survived in memories with its beauty and surprise result. After performances of all finalists, the jury left the stage for voting. It should be also noted that it took the jury more than 40 minutes for voting, however, they planned to spend 15 minutes for voting. At last, Head of Azerbaijani delegation in Eurovision Adil Kerimli appeared on the stage and announced that Safura Alizadeh would represent Azerbaijan in Oslo as Azerbaijani representative.

It should be mentioned that Georgian representative in Eirovision 2010 Sofia Nijaradze and participant of “Fabrika zvezd” Dakota also participated in the national final as guests. The national final was broadcasted live on Azeri national broadcaster Ictimai, Turkish channel TRT and Georgian Public TV. www.itv.az
