Acoustic version and Remix of Running Scared released
Eldar and Nigar: “It was so much fun to create the acoustic version”
In advance of Eldar and Nigar’s departure for Düsseldorf this Sunday, a harmonic acoustic version of Azerbaijan’s 2011 Eurovision Song Contest entry Running Scared has been released along with a club remix version by world renowned international hit DJ Ingo Martens aka Azzido Da Bass.
The acoustic version was recorded with a special accompaniment from Dmitry Chetvergov, a famous guitarist and music producer. Having noticed great potential in Running Scared for unplugged version he created a warm acoustic arrangement that reminds the mood of the best examples within the style: Yesterday by The Beatles and More Than Words by Extreme.
Nigar said about recording the acoustic version: “It was so much fun to create the acoustic version. This is simply music at its best, with no added production, no computer technology, no editing. This is just us and our song. It’s from the heart, personal and it was a joy to do”.
The club remix follows the release of the official music video last week, which is available to watch along with behind the scenes footage.
