Shots fired at a mosque in Lenkoran

An armed incident happened in Lenkoran region of Azerbaijan. The incident occurred at 12.15 a.m. this night in Qumbashi village of the region. The armed men fired at the people in the mosque from “Winchester”, killing 47 year old resident of the village Elshad Huseynov. Another resident of the village, 25-year-old Ramin Agamalieyev injured on his thorax has been placed in intensive care of Central Hospital of Lenkoran Region. Hospital officials say that the injured is in satisfactory condition due to necessary medical efforts.

An investigating-operational group of law-enforcement has been established on the incident. Measures are taken to detain the criminal. www.itv.az
